Pregnancy 9 Weeks Before Symptoms Started

I was pregnant for nine weeks before any of the normal signs of pregnancy started. I was actually pregnant with twins and my body still didn't show any of the tell tale signs. I have PCOS, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

The only reason I knew that I was in my 9th week was because I conceived the twins through in vitro fertilization and I was still going back to the fertility doctor for weekly ultrasounds. Those were the most beautiful fetal heartbeats in the world. You can see the darkened dots beating/pumping at this stage if you were getting an ultrasound done. Most women with a naturally conceived pregnancy will not receive one this early in their pregnancy.

The first symptom that actually did happen for me was the frequent urination. I was peeing way more than usual and I had to get up several times during the night also. This went away by the second trimester and came back at the beginning of the third trimester.

But just because you don't have any of the physical signs that you are pregnant doesn't mean that there isn't a baby growing in your uterus.

My mom was 6 months pregnant NEW
by: Angela

My mom was 6 months pregnant with me before she found out that she was pregnant. She actually went to the doctor because she thought she had a "bug" that wouldn't go away, and the heartburn and indigestion was getting under her nerves.

She didn't suspect pregnancy because she could go for six months without seeing her period. She has polycystic ovary syndrome and the gynecologist told her when she was 18 years old that she probably would never have a baby naturally. So much for believing that doctors know everything. So she calls me her miracle child, and I don't mind one bit.
