I had lost my period

Q. I had lost my period for a month and I tried my pregnancy test and shows me positive which means I am pregnant?

A. Yes, you are very possibly pregnant right now. The home pregnancy tests like EPT, First Response, and ClearBlue are pretty accurate for predicting whether you have a baby growing inside of you or not. You should still see your obstetrician/gynecologist to be 100% certain and to also make sure everything is progressing as it should be.

Those HPT's have never lied to me NEW
by: Anonymous

Those HPT's have never lied to me. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for three years. I have taken many, many tests during this time. I guess because of me stressing over trying to conceive so badly it caused my cycles to be late some months. But each test I took said I was not with child, which was usually followed by tears.

I finally tried a fertility clinic and during my first in vitro cycle the embryo took. I knew this because I took two HPT's before my 10-day wait period was up and both of them were positive. I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help it. They advise you to wait ten days after transfer because testing before then could give you a false positive (or negative) due to all of the added hormones that are going through your body.

But this was the first and best time I "lost" my period.
