29 weeks pregnant and pain under my right rib

I am 29 weeks pregnant and I have pain under my right rib. My daughter is breech so I think it may be her head pressing up against it, but what if it's not?

I know of quite a few women who had to have there gallbladder removed after having a baby. Could these pains be connected to gallbladder attack or just the position of the baby? I really don't look forward to the possibility of having surgery after the baby is born but this pain is really unbearable. It actually bring me to tears and it lasts for hours.

It sounds like gallbladder attacks to me. I had them when I was pregnant too. But I started getting attacks every few months after the baby was born. They got so bad that I had to go to the hospital. They waited for the inflammation to go down and operated 3 days later.

So tell your doctor about your symptoms. They probably won't perform surgery during your pregnancy but they may schedule one after you deliver.
